What We’re Doing Right Now
Development of a Low-Impact Distribution System
Currently, our main focus is on researching and developing the most efficient, lowest impact way to distribute products throughout the Salish Sea & Western Washington State. Whether this is sailing vessels, biodiesel vehicles, electric trucks, bicycles, or some combination of all four. We hope to discover if it is possible to drastically reduce the impact of shipping on our local environment, while exceeding the needs of local businesses and consumers.
Working with the Community
At the same time, we’re trying to find as many sustainably produced, local products as we can, with the goal of becoming the go–to distributor for these products. If you manufacture products in Western Washington, or operate a retail location selling local goods, we would love to hear from you about what you’re looking for in a distributor!
Small Scale Deliveries
Right now, we’re delivering coffee from Middle Fork Roasters, a local Seattle roaster. Most deliveries are being done utilizing a small vehicle running on 100% biodiesel, which is made from recycled vegetable oils, since we don’t currently have the volume necessary to make sailboat deliveries economical or practical.
