Good news! An attempt to rollback Colorado’s renewable energy mandate died Monday in a House of Representatives committee. Democrats in the committee managed to kill the bill in a party-line vote.

This bill would have cut the renewable’s required to be in the electric grid by 2020 from 30% to 15%.

With the recent takeover by Republicans in many states, bills like this have been appearing all over the country. Here’s hoping that more of them will get rejected.
