Coffee & Carbon Infographic Update!

Written by Mahonri Gibson

We recently managed to get our hands on more specific data about coffee’s carbon impact. Our previous infographic was based on data from a study that looked at coffee grown in Costa Rica and shipped to Europe.

Thanks to Grounds for Change, a local Poulsbo roaster, we now present an updated graphic representing the GHG emissions of organic, fair-trade coffee grown in Peru and shipped to the Puget Sound to be roasted and then distributed in Washington.

Be sure to check out Grounds for Change, their roasted coffee is certified CarbonFree by CarbonFund.org.
